Adblock plus for Microsoft Edge Browser.

Not technically an app on it’s own but rather an addon

Today we have a choice out of many browsers. Firefox is still my favourite but a close second is The Edge browser. Why ? The security of this browser is second to none. One extension that should be added to every browser would be the [ad-block plus] add-on. Many people don’t realize that it can be added to Edge as well. To do this simply open the Microsoft Store and look at the top for Edge Extensions. Select it and open the section for [adblockers and password managers]. Search for adblock plus (beta). To ensure you have the correct one, the manufacturer is Eyeo GmbH. After you install the adblock plus, you will want to ensure it is on and running. Open the Edge browser and look for the ABP red stop sign icon at the top on your toolbar. Right click on it and [manage] or for the advance user, left click on it and hit select the gear. Whether you use Chrome, Firefox or Edge, AdBlock plus is and extension you won’t want to be without.

INSTAGRAM

Years ago, we used to carefully place our photos in albums to be shared with family and friends. Some photos remained in their envelopes, stored in a shoebox only to collect dust from year to year never actually opened and enjoyed. So I ask you, how do you share your photos? Many of us use Facebook to share the odd photo and others are using Instagram. Both are great for sharing pictures but when used as a team and the accounts are linked, they are even better! Bone Voyage, the dog rescue I co-founded with another woman uses Instagram paired with the group’s Facebook account which has assisted us rescuing over 350 dogs this year. Without the photos of the dogs viewed by rescue groups up north, our success rate would be far lower. Check out the BoneVoyage Instagram Page

When it comes to sharing photos. Instagram is far superior to Facebook for ease of viewing and even better if you plan on sharing a larger selection of photos. You may want to create an Instagram account and upload your photos there while at the same time, SHARE or LINK the Instagram content with your Facebook friends. Give it a try! Breathe new life into your old photos or share those that are on your computer, tablet or camera today!
